About Us

A Local Store That Feels Like Home

Black Bear Arms LLC has been a part of the Steelville community for years — not because it had to be, but because people keep coming back. We believe a retail store should be more than a place to swap money for goods. It should be somewhere you're glad to walk into.

We take our selection seriously, our prices honestly, and our customers personally. If you can't find something, ask — we'll do our best to track it down.

Why Choose Us

The Way Shopping Should Be

We've built Black Bear Arms around a few simple ideas that most big retailers have forgotten.

Curated with Care

Every product on our shelves earns its place. We select inventory we'd be happy to buy for our own families — quality you can feel, not just see.

Real People, Real Service

No call centres, no chatbots. When you walk through our door or pick up the phone, you'll talk to someone who actually knows the products.

Fair & Transparent

What you see is what you pay. No hidden fees, no bait-and-switch. We price things honestly and stand behind every dollar we collect.

Right in Your Community

We're on Dogwood Lane, five minutes from the heart of Steelville. Easy to find, easy to park, and always open when you need us.

Special Orders Welcome

Can't find exactly what you're looking for? Let us know. We work with suppliers across the region to source items just for you.

Always Learning

The retail world changes fast, and so do we. We're constantly updating our selection based on what our customers actually want.
